Every day we get a little bit closer to an rBGH-free milk supply as more and more major retailers are responding to the growing consumer demand for healthier milk. Chipotle, Kroger, and Wal-Mart are the most recent stores to join the trend. We’re collecting 10,000 petition signatures to thank companies that have gone rBGH-free and to encourage more companies to do it in the future.

In January, Chipotle began serving only rBGH-free sour cream and cheese in its restaurants, and Kroger and Wal-Mart both announced that they will only source rBGH-free milk for their store brands. Though we might not agree with some of these companies’ other practices, their rBGH-free switch is commendable as it means a dramatic increase in the amount of artificial growth hormone-free dairy products available to consumers nationwide. Our petition will also help encourage these companies to label these products as 'rBGH-free.'

Sign the petition thanking these companies for making the switch to healthier milk and dairy products and ask your friends to do the same!

I show my support for this by boycotting dairy until all is clear.

  • It's sick that they'd inject stuff into cows to begin with. Can we have food without hormones or chemicals?

  • Vegan here, so I don't consume any of that shit anyway, but I'm all for not injecting cows with growth hormones that make them grow so big their legs break under the weight.

It's been made clear to us that corporations cannot be counted upon to act responsibly or keep the interests of consumers in mind so, that being said, it is time for the consumer to take self-responsibility and not support these practices by buying and consuming these products.

  • It costs a lot more to buy rBGH free milk so I have taken to using it 65% of the time. This is the best I can do on my budget; and still use milk and half and half.

I have already cut back on my milk consumption ever since I started growing breasts back in my 20's. My breasts are more normal now, but back in 20's I thought I was going to have to start wearing a man bra.

Then I remember reading about the hormone they were putting in the milk and I started to consume a lot less. Things improved. I love dairy products, I just wish that good milk wasn't so darned expensive.

  • MONSANTO-JUST ONE MORE EVIL EMPIRE TO CONTEND WITH! BOYCOTT MONSANTO! They are one of the biggest scum-sucking corporate parasites ingratiating its way further into everyone’s daily life whether you are aware of it or not. Their logo should be their soulless CEO with horns, a pointy tail & carrying a pitchfork on order to prod you into becoming a consumer of their products.

If you haven’t seen the documentary “The Future of Food” (or even "The Corporation") yet, I strongly urge you to do so. If I didn’t know that their goal of global food manipulation, distribution & what seems ultimately, complete control is perfectly legal, I would have thought this excellent science fiction. This is one badass company so powerful that they have Washington D.C. in their pocket. They will stop at nothing to keep any competitive products-usually organic & safe-off of store shelves in order to push their toxic products on a society too busy to notice in most cases without the publicity of well meaning organizations & CURRENT’s relentless search for the truth.

As they go global with this strategy, they are truly one of the most dangerous cos. in the world as they attempt to monopolize the very essence of survival-SEEDS TO GROW FOOD. Do not underestimate or do business with this company-you will only empower them to overpower us. Everyone can do his or her bit by being a smart consumer armed with the foresight that an evil empire can be built right in our back yard-at our expense in more ways than one.
