"A lost album JIMI HENDRIX recorded with rocker STEPHEN STILLS has been discovered more than 30 years after it was recorded.
Stills recently found the recording among a stack of material he taped during the 1970s, and his Crosby, Stills and Nash bandmate Graham Nash is helping him prepare it for release."

It's always fantastic when a jewel is discovered in someone's tape or real to real collection. This is an exceptional one, lets just hope that the Hendrix estate doesn't keep this thing wrapped up in lawsuits and it gets released asap. Wow Jimi in 2008 , who would have imagined?

I think Jimi Hendrix was on some tracks of Stephen Stills second solo album "Stephen Stills 2".
-
Where can I buy it and never mind the cost!
-
holy shit. that's awesome. i am dumbfounded how after all these years there is still nobody that could ever come close to touching hendrix for the crown of best guitar player ever. and i mean nobody has ever come close.

didn't they also find a jimi hendrix porn tape?
-
this is interesting on so many levels. One, It's a flipping new hendrix album oh yay of yays. Odd, though, that it is found less than a year the jimi hendrix sex tape was found. Also, dja ever stash a joint when you were stoned? Same concept, I bet.

Thank God, I'm glad it's Jimi Hendrix instead of yet another "lost" Tupac album!

i've listened to more obscure "lost" Jimi sessions in my time than i care to remember - half of them suck ass . his estate is sitting on enough material to finance a revolution , and will release new "lost" shit for the next few hundred years . i have friends with stacks of bootlegs , etc. which will never leave their houses .
ho hum. -
This should be good. I thin I will get a copy.
I remember a Hendrix concert in August 1968. Had front row seats in the middle for that one. GREAT show. -

I've gotta agree with malathion on this one. I like Hendrix, but I'm afraid this will turn out like most "unreleased" albums. It'll be crap.
There is a reason some things don't get released.
Here's to hope though. -
omg i think this is my greatest moment of 2008

I really like Jimi! An immortal genius in his own right! Go Jimi, Go!
-
Can I buy it with the sex tape?
-
Jimi took Rock music into outerspace man.
This is really good news.
Hopefully, if it charts, more kids will get to hear, know and love Jimi. -
A career cut short way too soon & now music from the grave so to speak. He produced some of the electric guitar's finest moments. Jimi truly was ahead of his time & that might be why we're ready to hear some more now.

HIPPIE SKIPPIE
that just made my day -
As I recall, these were a series of loose jams with Stills.
And yes. Hendrix appeared on Still's first solo album on the track, "Old Times, Good Times", but was dead before it's release. Stills dedicated the album to Jimi.
