25 year old Sandeela Kanwal was strangled by her father Chaundry Rashid in Jonesboro, Georgia after having an argument.
It is suspected that Kanwal, who was forced into an arranged marriage while in Pakistan, had a fight with her father about divorcing her husband.
Kanwal's husband now lives in Chicago, and Rashid has been arrested and will appear in court.
