Iran tests a missile capable of hitting Israel

In response to Israel's recent military exercises, Iran has tested a long range missile that places Israel deep within its firing reach.
Iran stated that it will retaliate with a strike on Tel Aviv if there is any military action against it.
This is pretty scary, and hopefully a situation that can be solved with diplomacy. As good ol' Kucinich explains here:

An attack on Iran's nuclear facilities could create a catastrophic nuclear fallout that will affect many surrounding countries.
On the other side, if nothing is done Israel might be blown off the map, difficult issues that I think our current President isn't capable of dealing with appropriately.

Man, we are really trying to kill each other. We made the mistake once of relying on poor intelligence and conjecture to justify military action against a country and that has left us with an occupation that has all but destroyed one country and slowly draining the life out of another. Someone has to intervene and stop this spiraling madness before a war escalating into a global conflict begins. Have we learned nothing from history? This is a frightening and sad time in the history of humanity.

The BBC is a government run organisation and runs biased news broadcasts.
What I see is a nation being bullied. The US telling them that they cannot use Nuclear energy and Isreal having bomber test runs. It is madness.
Poor president Ahmadinejad must be feeling like a complete scapgoat. He has said that he doesn't want a war. Seriously, he seems like a nice bloke just being portrayed as a villain by the west - http://www.abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=53...
Due to the extremely poor diplomacy used by the US and Isreal I imagine that he is probably considering the use of nuclear as a weapon (of self defence) even more.
God save us from the fools that rule us.
