A 15 year old video of Doctor Who star David Tennant, auditioning for Takin' Over the Asylum, a BBC Scotland drama/comedy series from the early 90s, has been released to the media this week. Tennant, fresh out of drama school, is nonetheless already recognisable in his frenetic hyperactive acting in the 10 minute clip that lead to his first 'big break'.
On viewing the footage, Tennant is said to have been mortified saying, 'My God, what was I wearing? And that hair - what was I thinking?' though nonetheless allowed the clip to be aired.
