Watching TV Makes You Fat

Ok, so we've all done it. It's late, just got back from a busy day, time to turn on the TV with a quick (preferably microwaved) snack. But scientists in a Canadian study have recently found that watching TV whilst eating could make us take in an average of 228 extra calories per meal. 'Mindless watching encourages mindless eating', say researchers at the study into childhood obesity, saying that children are particularly at risk.
