Not sure the back story on this, but if you thought the Heinz deli mayo ad was problematic - think again.
The darkness could so easily have been replaced by another consequence vs. decision scenario...

I can imagine the board meeting:
"So, we want shocking ... but not too shocking."
This is to far, it's hard to find even very dark humor in it. I'm all for edgy humour, but I think this ad dwells on the suicidal actions of the guy a bit too much, and possibly trivialises a pretty serious issue.
I like the end though. -

its only using suicide because its a popular thing, and its a decision used to make it look good. It can save your life!
Amazing how someone thought the words were worse than his actions, of which would kill him. -
made me laugh, I think thats the idea.... I like to read deep, but sometime people read around the humour!! yup black comedy isnt for everyone.... but I like it :)

as if when down, ppl wouldnt drink.
we need more direct artsy interpretations of why to drink? specially when about to commit suicide? while listening to one of the few people who ever existed who had a clue about what needs to be done, right? wrong.
wrong message, wrong illustration; right marketing, we are talking about it.
