While taking a break during a taping for a Fox News program, Jesse Jackson told another guest on the program that he wanted to "cut [Obama's] nu**s out." The hurtful and disparaging comments were caught on tape, because Jackson's microphone was still on.

  • I think that it's partly because, in terms of African-Americans, Obama places emphasis upon the need for African-American parents to be more responsible themselves, while Jesse Jackson still focuses on placing blame upon the external socio/cultural world. Also, perhaps there's a bit of jealousy that Obama has taken the public's attention away from him.

  • I wondered when Senator Obama made his speech about African American fathers taking more responsibility if he would get the "Bill Cosby" treatment. It appears he did.

  • Oh my god, if a white guy had made that remark Jackson would have called for the death penelty for the guy!!!! It might even have caused a riot!
