Everyone's favourite golfer Tiger Woods is apparently on course to make one billion dollars in career earning by 2010, which will see him become the world's first billionaire from playing sports.
A Forbes magazine article explains that "it will be an unprecedented occurrence," and that "there are plenty of billionaires who have excelled at sports like Switzerland's richest man and champion sailor Ernesto Bertarelli." But, that "there are no billionaires who accumulated their fortune by playing sports."
Woods has won 14 championships, racked up $115 million in 2007 alone, and is well on course to become the greatest golfer ever to grace this planet.
