If the world wants to be serious on tackling any pollution problem countries such as India and China need to be in the mix. I wouldn't sign any accord that did not bind developing nations either. Global warming as a change brought on by man only is an unproven theory, not even scientific fact.

Paratus, it is a fact that carbon monoxide will kill you. What happens if you park your car in the garage and leave it running? It doesnt take a scientist to know that we are killing ourselves and the rest of the world. So if you dont believe in global warming you can at least believe your eyes when you look at the skyline of any big city and see it for yourself. There is absolutely no doubt that we are doing THAT. It is also a FACT that our kids are having more and more respritory problems. So lets say the scientists are all wrong and there is no such thing as global warming and we change our ways and stop polluting at the rate that we are now, what is the worst thing that will happen? If our kids can breath better will you say that we shouldnt have listened?

Paratus, do some research... There are many who disagree with the climate change reality... but start investigating it yourself... Don't buy into their propaganda... Pollution is no joke. Even if it were not CO2 as the main culprit, we have so many other environmental hazards unchecked that are so harmful to life on earth... all protected by special interest greed breeding... Please, google some sites about environmental justice, and you will learn!

Scientist have sensors set up all around the world to measure temperature change, and have found that the water temperature has dropped 1 degree over the last 10 years. Google That!
And as for the Co2 greenhouse gasses- scientist have not concluded that they are even manmade... but, they have known for years that it makes crops grow better, wheat, barley, rice, soy beans, etc. Google that!
As for President Bush, Like him or not, he won the election by electorial votes...like we have been doing for the last 230 years. Not the popular vote!
