I'm sure cops constantly take the stash for themselves. The abuse of power is disgusting.

It seems like there are a number of these stories out in which cops take advantage of their power. While these dozen or so stories represent a small number of the American police force I still feel like its too much and there needs to be more oversight to keep cops honest.

Undercover cops sometimes have to use illegal drugs in order to keep their identity safe. Even though some may take advantage of their badge, often times it is a matter of life or death.

And they're suppose to protect us eh.

Well, one cop stashed it and another cop found it. Hmmmm, sounds like a good premise for a movie. Oh wait .....

this probably should be investigated to the fullest, but you know this will be the last anyone hears about it.

If the officers were corrupt, the drugs would not have been reported. The drugs would be on the streets ruining more lives...

Often times undercover cars are vehicles seized from arrests. If anything this reeks of police stupidity and not corruption.

honestly guys the cop bashing has to stop at some point. i lived in ecuador, a country where corruption could make a cop more feared than a mugger. when i got back to the states i was thankful to have a police force that actually did their job for the most part. yes, there is always that one cop in the states who makes headlines for doing something idiotic but on the whole, i have to say they're doing a good job.

Why am I not surprised? And why do people actually believe that the cops didn't know about this already? Obviously someone just got a little lazy, or maybe they were too high and forgot to empty the car before dropping it back at the station.

duh! there drivin around with it so when they pull someone over that gives them lip, they guna plant it on them, and try to be a "hero". seen this too many times b4 not to be shocked....happens everyday here in wbp, welcome new comers.

They say cops always have the best dope. Maybe that's why they get all amped up and start thinking they're judge, jury and executioner all the time.

The best cops think like criminals. The wealthiest cops do what criminals do, sell drugs...

Maybe if we payed them well, the temptation might be less...
