  • first tool song I ever heard, actually ikeula75 first played it for me a long time ago. I thought I had entered another dimension and had suddenly obtained the powers to rise above everything and in my hovering state be able to strike down all who exhorted ignorance.

  • I really hope they make another album, I know it's impossible but I don't ever not want to look forward to a new tool album. I bet some said that about the rolling stones and now look at them.

  • every time I listen its a new feeling or excitement, completely unparalleled. the closest i can come to that is maybe the likes of coltrane or art blakey.

  • They'll have a new album before too long, I'm sure. I just hope it isn't a long dry spell again. For consolation, Nine Inch Nails is extremely prolific right now and Trent Reznor is putting it out for free.
