I'm getting one of these badboys as soon I can get my number transferred over.
There's some good info on the iPhone and its new features at this Current link. I'm quite literally salivating.

According to current user KristianBrodie, Apple has suffered "a monumental knock-back this morning when staff at their flagship store on Regent Street, London were unable to activate any of the brand new 3G iPhones as the mobile operator O2's system runs on the rival Microsoft's Internet Explorer."

I queued for 2 hours to get my new iphone this morning, only to find that O2's systems had crashed under the weight of the launch and they couldn't give me a new number. So now I have this wonderful toy that I can't use. Stupid O2.

I would love an iPhone... if only I could get one without being locked into a 2 year contract. What's up with that? Is Apple too good for pay as you go?
