Chief Judge Vaughn Walker of the US District Court in California has ruled that President George W. Bush is a felon. The ruling stems from the case of Al-Harmain Islamic Foundation Inc. v Bush, a case which will now be remembered as making it official that Bush's program of 'warrantless spying' is illegal.

will someone give this guy a bj so we can get him out of office.
-
I think the FISA law they passed last tuesday gives Bush immunity from that too as well as the telecom companies so that judges ruling is rendered moot.
-
That cell looks too large for him...
Way to go California!
Once again, I'm not proud to be an American, but I am proud to be a Californian!-

That's my hubby's article and blog!

Now we all know politicians don't really end up in the real prison's the rest of us are subjected to. Him and his cronies would be grilling Tex-Mex in a free range four seasons prison.
-
Yeah, like Bush would ever go to jail... I would like to see him survive 10 minutes on the yard at Twin Towers or San Quentin.

It's amazing what some celebrities and politicians can get away with these days. It seems like if you are a high-ranking member of society, you can pretty much do anything you want without fear of prosecution... What happened to Checks and Balances?
-
I get angered when people tell me that Rep. Kucinich is out of line with his articles of impeachment. This just proves it... Impeachment may occur when a president commits high crimes.

A politically motivated judge should not be relied upon to set a precedent in any legal action.
There was much testimony that was not allowed into this litigation for national security reasons.
Within the confines of closed informational meetings that have taken place in secure buildings with cleared personnel, members of the senate and house serving on commitees dealing with the fisa law, the congress has come from these meetings to approved and expanded, to some extent the powers of certain sections of our government to spy upon internet traffic and phone conversations.
I am confident that if this California judge had been privy to this informantion his ruling would have been different. Unless of couse the honorable judge is hoping for an appointment in the Obama adminstration.
Where are the checks and balances when personal gain can be won from a federal ruling? Both of our political parties are corrupt to some extent and all three branches of our government have proven their inablility to be trusted absolutely. A free press, is a joke when it really represents the opinion of a few. I see emotionally disturbed people everywhere screaming at us like chicken little on steroids. Pray. Try to keep selfishness out of your thinking and actions and we will all get through this uncertain time and be much more united for it.
If you would want to change the world you first must become what you wish the world to be. -
He may get pardoned by whoever. The states can still prosecute him and foreign governments can and the world court. He can run but he can't hide.

"Pray to keep selfishness out of your..." Blah blah blah. What a load of crap. I want justice. I want to see Bush Cheney and all the rest of those sociopathic neocons burned at the stake for what they've done to America.
-

Poor MR. Clinton where' s Kenneth Star when we need him
spending his independent council payments.
Yet nothing for Bush something is wrong. -

Do you really think the president alone is responsible for anything and/or everything that happens in this country?

Hell no, he's largely a puppet. But he is by no means innocent. THEY ARE ALL COMPLICIT.
-

He is not as much a puppet as you think. He is the cause of the war in Iraq, the Oil crisis, the credit crisis, the bank failures etc. It is a simple equation if you want to think about it. He started a war, and borrowed money from China and india which devalued the dollar which put us in so much debt our dollar is worthless and the price of oil is skyrocketing while people can't afford to buy gas let alone pay a mortgage. And in the mean time he has not tried to buy back the dollar which keeps it low he has not opened the strtegic oil resrves to try to lower oil prices. He has done nothing to try to stop him from getting ricvh on the backs of American working people. Yes he is directly responsible. Don't give me the shit he is only a puppet. He has not lifted a finger to help in this country. The Pentagon loves hsi war and he loves his weapons stocks and oil profits. He is a BOOB and a BUM and belongs in prison with his cohorts in crime for the daths of over 100,000 people.
-
I don't really think Bush is smart enough to think to get bills and laws that keep him from major procecution(sp). I think he's responsible, but there's someone else pulling the strings in the background...
-
is this just another atempt 4 future writers to get there
book or comic s as i like to call um, on the bookmobel
as they arnt weather of anybody above the8th grade
daaaaaaaaaa we all know he is a dedade -

When will the criminals face the rule of law? -
I THOUGHT THEY EXECUTED THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED IN TEXAS?

Pissedofinarkansas he's from mars, I think. He definitely needs an spelling course along with a study of the ABC's.
-
I think this should be useful to Kucinich's impeachment argument that he may be allowed to present to the senate. I think when people say impeachment is coming too late, they only think of it as removal of office. But "Impeachment" actually means taking an official to court on the grounds of being "un-constitutional", and it may lead to removal of office as well as penalization.

The judge is coming after GWB through a side entrance of US Law. He knows that the Justice Department isn't going to do it.
Bravo, Sir. Well played. -
dson: Right on target. People getting "brave" when it gets near the end of his term that the people handed to him on a silver platter. I'm so impressed... Not. And just wondering: was the title of this entry changed for tv? This wasn't the original title. But suffice it to say that I am not only outraged about the actions of Bush and his criminals, but I'm not too happy with a Congress that allowed these abuses and the distracted, lazy, ignorant people in this country who went along with it too because it was too inconvenient to them to do otherwise. There is more than one to point the finger at now. But again, it's good for TV.
