If you're a lady of considerable cleavage (DD or bigger, to be exact) and you buy bras from M&S's new and actually pretty damn good lingerie range, expect to pay a 'tit tax' of £2 per bra.
Marks & Spencer has defended its a policy of charging extra on some of its bigger than size DD bras, the BBC reports, claiming that it is standard industry practice to charge more for bigger sizes as they require more work in production.
But well-endowed women are not happy, and more than 900 people have joined a 'Busts 4 Justice' protest group on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=18589103563
Its founders argue it is unfair that smaller bras are cheaper, because this logic does not apply to other clothes.
Should all larger clothes (that logically probably require more materials) be more expensive? Or would this simply be a further attack on the plus sized among us? Is it fair to ask customers to pay more if they are bigger breasted (and this isn't usually something you have a lot of influence over!)? Have you ever paid more for a bigger bra? Did you even notice the price difference? And do you even care?

ok looking at this logicly, yes the bigger the bra the more it will cost, however, the cost is so miniscule just for an extra inch of material that the company can pay for it instead of the consumer.
its just like when they introduced the recycling charges. people were upset about having to pay extra for something that the industry sould have payed for, so instead, the industry's pulled back the price about a euro or two (basicly the recycling charge) so that the price was the same as before just with 1% of it going to the recycling charge.
if this wont be the case, then speak with your wallet (or purse in this case) and just dont buy it unless they lower the price. -
haha, that is mental lol! Bit unfair to make the bigger busted people pay more!
Will end up being able to tell if someone has money or not depending on how big their bust is.
Small - In debt
Medium - Comfortable
Large - Rolling it! -
Ha i bet Busty Heart would have something to say on the matter!

I am not fully conversant with the bust sizes of ladies though I do admit to enjoy looking at the well proportioned ones, however my first question is this, `Some ladies especially the young teenagers wear bra`s that are quite miniscule so should Marks and Spencers provide these free to the young ladies?
You may ask how I know this fact, well I keep my eyes open when I go through the lingere department with my wife while pretending to look unconcerned.
Secondly, should the males who appreciate the larger sized lady contribute to a fund that subsidises the lady with the well endowed features? I would glady give a few pounds yearly towards the "tit tax" if it stops the ladies in question stuffing their assets into undersized bra`s thus depriving me of one of my pleasures.
I wonder what it would look like on the tax form and what it would be listed under.-

More goes into the production of them, and more material's used presumably?
Surely these 2 factors justify the higher price tag? -
Exactly - this is pretty basic. If you want more food at a supermarket you pay more... If you need to buy a bra with more fabic needed to make it, it should be more... Why should my wife have to pay more for her's to balance out the price of someone's with an extra large bra!!??

There is no testicle tax for men who have to buy larger boxers or briefs, so why should women with larger breasts have to pay more?
