He was called the world's youngest political prisoner when, as a six-year-old, he was taken into Chinese custody in 1995. He has not been seen or heard of since.

There's no control like complete control...even if it means arresting a spiritually chosen child and replacing him with a politically chosen one.

Not only far from their believes but also from their rights to choose their leaders.
Everytime the chinese government interfere in this kind of matters not only irrespect tibetan believes but also interrupt abusively traditions of hundreds of years, which is a crime against one of the most antiques cultures and believes in the world.
All this for political interest, really it doesn't worth it-

the absurdity of officials re-appointing the panchan lama to ensure a communist-controlled line is insane.. so sad that young kids have to suffer and religions made a mockery of purely for political gain.
