Does the media damage the climate change movement by shoving too much contradictory, bossy, or just parrot-like information down our throats? Does this wall of information we're presented with create a kind of static that we can't hear anymore?

  • As the airways become saturated, people become so tired of listening to it, (as with Clinton and Obama) that many may just tune it out.
And yes to the confusing information. We all know there is a problem, but with so much conflicting info, it makes a person want to throw up their hands and say, "To hell with it all."

  • I say rock the green knowledge, it is here to save us from ourselves. Many people are still very misinformed about green living, sustainable living, and organic lifestyles. No one wants to have a bunch a hippies preaching at them, but when people learn what new methods of "free energy"(youtube that phrase) and sustainable living offer we may feel that we have long sold ourselves short. Not to mention put much more hard earned cash in the consumers pocket.

  • A lot of people have tried to capitalize on Global Warming by presenting something completely normal as "green" and more often than not, it has worked. The US has propaganda down to fine art. Remember if you hear something enough its as good as true. These way of thinking is so common place most people don't even know they are doing it. It's not surprising our media reflects this.

The only way to combat ignorance is to live for truth. "You must become the change you want to see in the world." It is not easy but nothing worth doing ever is. Stop taking things at face value. Be critical (google critical thinking). Start finding your own answers.
