What I never understood is that what is human and what is unhuman. Unless you are able to change your self(soul) into another state of being then a human can only do human things, killing, child abuse and homosexuality is very human. It is the society we live in that makes the rules for human to behave in, not mothernature..

I agree with ericbooth. We suppress some of our naturally urges because they are not acceptable to society. That doesn't make them any less natural...

Also, why box everyone into exact labels? Gay, BiSexual, Straight - these things don't actually exist except within our own minds...human sexuality, in reality, has no definite lines. All else are labels.

There exists feminine acting "straight" men, butch acting "straight women", people who prefer one sex, people who prefer both sexes, people who prefer no sex at all, there are people who are mixed sexes (naturally, born that way), and people who prefer one sex over the other, as well as people who've simply tried both sexes...sexually and non sexually...

When we stop drawing lines, all this turmoil will end. Unfortunately, the media and religion tells us differently, and most people believe what they are told.

-For everyone saying "captivity is not a natural state", please review my post and the article; they cover BOTH captive and wild animals...
-Bisexuality is actually also covered, I originally posted this with bisexuality in the title but took it out b/c i thought it was too long...
-We ARE animals, and I agree we don't follow "nature" on everything we do- but a lot of people, mainly religious, would claim that homosexuality is wrong b/c it doesn't occur naturally. I don't think people should be labeled to strictly, but we don't even have EQUAL RIGHTS for gay people in America- something I believe needs to be changed!
-ericbooth- what if you don't believe in a soul? killing is certainly not just a human thing, animals kill each other all the time! I'm not saying that because it's found in nature it's "right" or "wrong", simply that a lot of things we think of has "human behaviour" can also be found in animal communities.

Homosexuality is far from being "Natural". You see, the anus was never created to stick things into it. In other words, to be a Sexual "Organ".

I have Homosexual friends and everyone is equal, but we have to be subjective and the fact is that, it is just not Normal.

Dear Guys & Dolls, it isn't that complicated. You don't need experts & studies just an honest inspection of, & reflection on, your own experiences & emotions.
Very broadly speaking sexuality is a continuum of the possibilities - if it can be done it will be - centred on behaviours that procreate the species but with a distinct pleasure bent.
Acts can be defined as hetero or homo or bi but labelling people as such is merely an ignorant, if satisfying, manner of taunting.
As someone said: do your thing bearing in mind that you are responsible for the consequences. Obviously this applies strictly to 'between consenting adults'.

Homoness may not be natural for some but for some it is, its just sex, for some the attachment is more its love and respect, and things that go into a "normal" relationship are the same things that go into a gay relationship, so as for normal thats covered.

The only reason homosexuality is regarded with disgust in America is because Christians view it as "unnatural". Well, while not conclusive, more and more evidence is shedding light on the fact that it is both perfectly natural and starts at birth. Eventually this "issue" will disappear as christians finally come to accept the fact that god made gays the way they are and that it's alright to be so. They'll also do a double take on the supposed passages in the bible discussing homosexuality. 30 years...wait and see.

Cannibalism is natural, pedofilia is natural, hell dogs and cats lying in the middle of the street in public licking their genitals is natural. I think it's great that homo's liken themselves to having similar brain function as animals in order to push their agenda.
