This review is a survey of nine studies (click on the link for details)
Based on the average found in the following nine studies, 14% of children raised by homosexual parents develop homosexual or bisexual preferences. These studies reported rates of non-heterosexuality ranging from 8% to 21%. The most frequently reported percentages were 14% and 16% (two studies each). For comparison purposes, data from the best national surveys report that approximately 2% of the general population is non-heterosexual (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, and Michaels,1994). Therefore, if these percentages hold true in better designed studies, children raised by homosexuals appear to be about seven times more likely to develop homosexual or bisexual preferences than children raised by heterosexuals. And, as was explained earlier, 14% may be an under-estimate due to the young ages of many of the subjects in these studies.
The nine studies surveyed are reviewed and include the authors' abstracts or descriptions provided by others, followed by her comments and/or analysis. They are presented in alphabetical order

Parents do influence their children in what they are taught. This would be the time for those that don't like parents teaching their children religion to step in and say that homosexuals raising children are creating a bias in their child and it should be stopped for it's hindering them from having free choice.
Won't happen. Not when it fits their agenda.
Anyone to suggest that parents cannot influence their children in sexuality are sorely naive. This creates another argument for choice.
Just like being raised by a divorced parent will make the child think differently about marriage than a child raised by parents that were still in a loving marriage.
Parents matter so much more than what people think. -
Homosexual parents are making it O.K. for their children to be gay or bi, so when these kids grow up they're sexuality isn't suppressed as much as it can be in heterosexual households. awesome.

This review is in no way definitive. I'm not arguing for either side but stating that new studies of both the general population and homosexual parents are needed in order to draw any meaningful conclusions.
In her own words:
"Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the methodological flaws in the existing homosexual-parenting studies highlight the need for scientifically rigorous and unbiased research, so that more definitive conclusions concerning sexual and gender identity outcomes of homosexually parented children can be drawn."-

Gay children of straight parents are 100% more likely to be homosexual!

I grew up in ann arbor MI so i saw plenty of gay people growing up, My mothers best friends were all gay and I aslo had two gay uncles. Gayness was everywhere growing up and as an adult I cant say it ,made me gay.
Seriously I only take it in the butt once a week.
Sorry but this study means nothing.
I grew up knowing that everybody is different. I saw that most couples were straight and some were gay.
And I also had a mother who understood how to be a parent. I knew that I liked girls since the second grade and it had nothing to do with the sexual preference of the people around me.
