Neil Armstrong was quite since returning from space, (the moon presumably). He wouldn't answer questions, maybe because he didn't want to lie. Many today, still believe that the whole thing was a hoax. We had to beat the Russians to the moon.
Still there are far too many questions that were never answered. It all seems like a staged Hollywood movie.
Was our technology, at that time, superior enough to have made it through the Van Allen radiation without the astronauts not dying from radiation exposure. What about the flawless pictured landing, where hardly any moon dust moving at all, or the starless black sky in middle of space ? What about the perfectly poised American flag ? Where did the wind come from ? Most of all. experts believe that the improper light created shadows gave it all away.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks we never actually went to the moon back in 1969.

Where were the "blast burns" normally left by module landings, that should have been visible on the lunar surface ?

I've always wondered this myself, lol
-
I've seen the footage, and with the video equipment of the time, the fact that there are no stars is a non-issue. The flag seems more to wobble, not flap in the wind. The light isn't a spot source from the sun, but rather is combined with a large diffuse reflection from the moon's surface.
Nothing in the footage makes me think it was staged. In fact, back then, our special effects technology was far, far less developed than we think.
------------------------------- appended ------------------------
As for the burn marks that are NOT there, I guess I really don't think there would be much. Ever so long ago, there were 'lunar lander simulators' for the venerable apple II (you can see a modern implementation of one at http: // www.apolloarchive.com / lander.html )
It is fun and since it's only trying to show the laws of physics, it is pretty educational. Try to go those last few meters with your jets full on. It just won't work. It is suicide. You go those last few meters in total coast mode with only the briefest of jets.
I'm more impressed with the narrators statement regarding the Van Allen belt, but since there is NO way that the launch vehicle was, in her words, "as heavy as a battleship," I'm a little suspicious about her claim of the highly deadly nature of the belt itself. Space medicine was a pretty well developed field of research in the '50's and it isn't clear at all that lead shielding would be needed.
Yes, it's possible that we did not go to the moon. But it is equally likely, in my mind, that there is one true religion.
PS:And by the way, this is what the real Dr. James Van Allen thought about it:
"The recent Fox TV show, which I saw, is an ingenious and entertaining assemblage of nonsense. The claim that radiation exposure during the Apollo missions would have been fatal to the astronauts is only one example of such nonsense." -- Dr. James Van Allen
This quote (and I didn't talk to the good Dr myself, so don't ask me if he really said it.) is from http://www.clavius.org/envrad.html
Since Dr. Van Allen died very recently (2006) he was almost certainly an authority on the subject of these belts and the moon missions. Probably worth listening to. -

It sounds like you went to the moon with them. You sound pretty damn sure of yourself. You must have swept up the module blast burns on the lunar surface, so we all could have a neat and clean pictures back here on earth, and you probably vaccumed all of the lunar dust off of the landing pod, again so we could have neat and clean pictures for LOOK and LIFE magazines back then. Huh ?-

Has anyone else been to the moon to actually see how things work up there? Not that I can recall. So until someone else makes it up there to check that the flag IS up there, I dont want to hear it.
I also do not see why everyone has to pick this apart. It's a part of American history, we did it, end of story. -
i have always wondered why we haven't been back to the moon in so many years.

Does it matter? WE've been there since, we have people in space right now, we have robots on other planets we have sattelites everywhere. What does it really matter if we did or didn't anymore. It matters as much as how many gunmen killed kennedy.

Here's some more.Close your eyes, "Unknown77".
No really, don't feel bad. I didn't stop believing in Santa Claus until I was in the 6th grade, and that's only because I caught my father bringing my brand new bicycle in. I was so made, I didn't even ride it all Christmas day.
The Easter bunny, Halloween, and Santa Claus are also all a part of American history. So is Rocky, Tarzan, and John Wayne. Damn, it seems like there's alot of folklore in American history.-

I have no issue listening to these. I actually find it informative to watch, let's me see the other side of things. But just because a bunch of people want to pick it apart makes me have no less pride in America. Do I like what we have done recently, not really, but I still have pride, and you cannot take that away.
-
Unknown77,
I am just as proud as you are of being an American.Bad stuff just didn't start to happen recently. Bad stuff has always happen since 1555, when John Hawkins(Hopkins) navigated the first slave ships to the shores of the beautiful country. When they left the west coast of Africa, they were flying the flag of Jesus( the holy cross). At 100 miles off shore, they brought it down, and yoist up the ( skull and cross bones). You don't know your own history. My problem is that , there has always been an "unknown shadow" that has always run this country behind the scene. They're the ones that are unamerican, not you and certainly not me.-

Here is a website that outlines most of the stuff in the video. Although it looks like it is a little "over the top" in its design, the person there claims to have accepted challenges and posted evidence to prove that things were not what they would seem on the surface.
-
Who knows... Did Nasa ever comment on the shield? Actually, I believe it was for real...and that they made it there... And I love America... but we need some "tweeking!" IT could have been staged, but we do not really know... Look at all of the cover ups by our gov... I don't even want to study this... I know too much of the horrors already!
-
You've done a good job of presenting a case against NASA, but the evidence you used to support such an extrodinary claim is very shakey at best.

This website has even more fascinating information about the Apollo 11 mission. It has tons of photographs and it has 9/11 analysis photographs too.
Check it out. -
renagadeofunk74,
Here's some more shaky(not shakey) evidence of truth. !-

Fantastic, this is a great film very well edited, narrated, and presented. Extremely compelling and convincing. I especially like the silent ending. Very dramatic and leaves you really thinking.
I would love to find this film do you know where it can be found? Is it for sale somewhere? -
Since Current folks are good hearted people let me offer a bit of education without calling anyone names...
1) As to Neil Armstrong "never answering questions" one only needs to do a little homework. He's spoken many, many times, (he just didn't do it on Entertainment Tonight) as has Buzz Aldrin and the others who walked on the moon. Read Aldrin's book or Gene Cernan's "Last Man on the Moon" or Edgar Mitchell's "The Way of the Explorer." or refer to each mission's voluminous debriefings which are also commercially available.
2) As to "hardly any moon dust moving" I would refer you to the more than one hundred hours of live video from the surface transmitted during moon walks which are commercially available (Spacecraft Films). The dust is everywhere, and with every astronaut's step it's quite clearly kicked up by each and every footstep.
3) As to the flag "waving" the motion is from the thrust of the lunar excursion module's main engine upon departure. In still photos what you're seeing is a flag held open with thin iron or plastic bars, depending on the mission.
4) As to the lack of stars, this is the easy one - anyone who understands film exposure understands that in order to shoot something under glaring sunlight you have to reduce the aperture of the lens to avoid overexposure of the film. This is a far higher aperture,(a far smaller iris opening) to allow the far, far dimmer star images to be accepted by the film's emulsion.
I could go on and on. But consider this.
The Russians were monitoring all telemetry and voice transmissions of ours during the entire mission, even down to the astronaut's heartbeats... Their technology was equal to ours, remember they put the first satellite in space, first living creature into space (a dog named Laika,) first man into space, first woman into space, first multiple crew into space, achieved first rendezvous, first space walk, etc... and they landed a spacecraft on another planet before we did.
Do you really think they wouldn't have known that we were faking it? And wouldn't have screamed that out to the media?
And do you think we were clever enough to have faked SIX LANDINGS?
During the Apollo program NASA and its subcontractors had over 200,000 employees working on the moon landings. Let's say only one in 1,000 could have known we were faking it. Do you think 200 people could keep that red hot a secret for four decades?
Believe me, no one distrusts or dislikes this government more than I do. But it saddens me to see young people doubting the only thing this nation has ever done in my lifetime to make me proud.
I know of no other conspiracy theory where each and every "fact" is so demonstrably untrue.
There's no scandal here, folks. Devote your attentions to the real conspiracies. For example... we now know that two CIA agents were in the lobby of the Ambassador Hotel the night that Robert Kennedy was killed. They're on videotape and have been identified by other agents.
Chew on THAT one for a little while... -
Forgot to mention in my previous comment...
Please go to Youtube and search for
Jack Schmitt on the Moon
Charlie Duke on the Moon
Look at them falling to the surface, look at the body movements and postures required to right themselves, look at the dust motion, look at the dust all over their suits, and ask yourself honestly...
Could I move my body like that in 1 G (earth gravity level)?
and finally...
Do these transmissions look fake? Or do they look real? -
You make some good points there DJenkins, I've been a skeptic but you have a good point with all the people who were employed by the space program in America at the time.

I recall a film I once saw that exposed as a sham a genuine lunar landing. I cannot recall the star (funny!) but it was convincing
I recall a film where a group journeyed to the centre of the earth, set off an atomice device and stabilised the world
I saw a film with Bruce Willis where they flew into outer space and destroyed a comet heading on a collision course with earth.
I saw a film where a group of scientists were minituarised and climbed into a tiny capsule that was then injected into some ones veins to cure them
I saw a film where intrepid explores brought back from the jungle a big monkey called King Kong he was big and very ugly but he certainly attracted one member of the fairer sex
I saw a film starring Neil Armstrong where he set foot on the moon, no, this is a different film from my first item
Come to think of it I have seen some truly believable films but my favourite is still SUPERMAN!!
As my dear old dad used to say "believe a quarter of what you read in the newspapers half of what you hear and three quarters of what you see" So that begs the question " Is superman real?"-

A retired detective, I might add here that for years my website offered to debate any of the frauds who use the supposed World Trade Center conspiracy as something by which to profit. I got no takers - of course.
The supposed faking of a lunar landing is another similar fraud - "bunco." The number of false assumptions, false assertions, unscientific conclusions, and more is so voluminous that they beggar any effort to answer them all.
Suffice it to say I'll go along with Dr. Van Allen.-

Keith....I have been missing you and hoping you were all right....well...you are back with a vengeance....the video is very good and the comments are wide ranging.....the point I would like to make is that why does the government in America do so much to make us doubt them.....I have a hard time thinking they are coordinated enough to pull off the many secret things they have done....moon....Roswell...the list is lengthy.....maybe they were in the past.....many great technological break throughs have been kept quite to not upset the economy.....lies will bury you....whether you are an individual or government......I tried to tell Nasa something years ago that I know to be true....they would not listen.....there is a void between the two poles of any molten core planet that fluctuates constantly....if you travel through it....you can travel to outer space with a lot more ease.....using the magnetic force to propel the craft....the rings of saturn are this void.......from Saturn you can see the rings of Earth........the knowledge is out there.....just like many of you think I am.......Golden Ruler......Will........

Could it be a reasonable explanation for lieing, that some forces are briefed on this secret missions. I hope so, if not we are in the next stages of divide and conquer. The oldest trick in the book. We are gonna get our ass wipped again. I wasnt alive yet when people started lieing, but immediately there was instint shit shovling into my carriage. I cant get a little piece of the money without signing my life away. But yet you can fuck over everybody and remain rich rolling in money. I cant wait to get the fuck out of this cousin fucking side of the world.

Keith...I have liked many things you have said on this post....have noticed that you were absent for awhile....good to have you back.......seems like the rose we call Current has developed some grand thorns....I know it is hard but don't let them stick you.....the thing you said about a group controlling things is exactly what I feel....it is like they are playing chess with the world....before that it was their parents.....would love to know all of them.....they are a slippery lot....very intelligent in an evil way.....there is no way they would let George Bush know who they are.....and if he knew he would probably forget....Golden Ruler....Will.........

I'm not sure how this program works yet, but just for everyone interested, I had for more than a year on my website (I get about 1500 hits a month) a challenge to any and all of the 9-11 controlled demolition conspiracy theorists a challenge to debate - anywhere and whenever they might chose.
Identifying myself as a retired detective of twenty three years experience, I e-mailed and wrote my challenge to a dozen of the most prominent conspiracy theorists, guys making big money with seminars and recording sales. To several of the most prominent, I repeated the challenge several times. No takers.
The faked moon landing conspiracy theory is something of the same kind, and these frauds make big money from the gullible public. A practicing physicist, I'd be with the late Dr. Van Allen in laughing - except I don't thing deceit for money is funny. It's bunco.-
