  • Awareness of the dangers associated with GMO "foods" needs to be spread. It's frightening to think that the vast majority of food available in supermarkets has been genetically modified.

Finally, even in the U.S.A. someone has realized that eating healthy means stay healthy, the industry of GMOs is a capable only of making money at the expense of human health. It 'a vicious circle from which you can not quit: eat GMOs, you sick, you have to treat you, and all this is in their hands, avide hands dirty and blood

  • These issues point up widespread and endemic flaws in the relationship between government and corporations. An incestuous relationship in which 'regulators' whose backgrounds in industry compromise and bias them may be beyond mere 'reform' at this point. Secondly, it points up the flaws in a 'capitalist' systems that has become, in fact, a CORPORATIST i.e, fascist system. There are no 'market forces' that will address this problem as long as corporations are considered to be 'people' with all the attendant 'rights' but none of the responsibilities. The corporate structure itself must be re-examined, perhaps abolished. Government is, likewise, dysfunctional, irresponsible, and beyond the ability of 'people' to control.

  • Anything humans think they can modify or make better ends up screwing things up. Humans are just not bright enough to create.

  • The plain fact, one demonstrated repeatedly in the daily news, is that corporate industry and the government run by corporate industry can't be trusted. Their only morality is that of the now infamous "bottom line," and everyone who is sickened or dies as a result is the equally infamous "collateral damage."

For most of my life I have preferred to grow or kill most of my food, probably the reason that I am still, seventy-years of age, able to do sets of pushups (and as many as 125 in a set), 12 chin-ups (and as many as 23 in a set), five hundred sit-ups in a set, and ride as far as one hundred miles in a day.

Currently, I am fighting a battle with in situ uranium miners who are contaminating the water table from which our tap water comes (making it radioactive to levels as high as 120 Roentgens a month). The courts in Texas give the corporations whatever they and their lawyers want, no matter how much property is destroyed and no matter how many lives are ruined and lost. The latest nightmare is a proposed nuclear reactor a few miles away.

You to visit my Mongoose Trick website: I'm not going to take this sitting down, and they haven't in the past called me the "guerrilla lawyer" for nothing.

  • finally somebody's speakin up and speaking out. I don't approve of GMO'S at all. I mean, a couple of peaches i've ate lately have been really white, firm and bitter and usually their yellow and a bit soft and sweet. i even ate some grapes lately that were plump but lacked any taste. call me paranoid but i think fruits are being messed with....most likely
