In an effort to clear the backlog of SAT tests in Britain, "people who have just passed their A-levels" were hired to mark the papers, according to the chairman of the education and skills committee. He claims that ETS hired both grads and non-grads to mark the papers. And even with this extra help, only 80% of SAT results would be released by the end of term this week, and another 120,000 pupils will have to wait until September to get their grades.
