What is wrong with these people? Even married couples use contraception! All this law will do is waste time in our already bloated court systems and make people go underground or go natural for contraception. I mean, foxglove flowers are a anatural contraceptive, does that meant they're going to ban growing it in the US?

WTF! So basically they're trying to take away my right to not have a child. This is fucking ridiculous! So people are being punished for trying to do the right thing by avoiding having a child they don't want and avoiding having taxpayers take care of them if they can't afford too. I guess they expect everyone to stay abstinent and wait for marriage.Good luck on that one. So are condoms classified as an abortion? Someone get these mofos out of power now! SMH.

What's deeply disturbing is that people suffering from obvious and severe mental illness are ocupying extremely high levels of government.

I used to think rumors that Bush would launch nukes at Iran before he left office "to fulfill the Prophecy and begin the End Times" was just paranoid talk.

Having read this latest tidbit I'm not so sure....

Horrifying. Tell the religious right to stay the hell out of my bedroom, government and personal life. Not to mention that this is a clear violation of Women's Rights- what the hell is wrong with people? Ugh, it makes me sick!

I though Republican were all about:

"Freedom!"

"Small govrnment!"

"Get the government off our backs!"

What bullshit. The Republicans are obsessed with using government to form a weird pesudo-Taliban right here in the States. They only "hate" government when it favors mainstream America (like ending segregation, ending child labor, teaching kids evolution, etc)

If this keeps up soon women will be recieve public lashings for wearing skirts short enough to expose their ankles. That should make George's good, good friends the Saudi's happy.

Or maybe they will be forced to have their parents co-sign a marriage certificate approving of their marriage partner before they are allowed to a) be married and b) have their chastity belts removed.

This is not a fait accompli - call your legislators, who can then raise enough Hell to have the administration change course.

And then we can make sure toast never falls off the table butter side down.

The most insane part about this is the people who support this actually think they are helping humanity to achieve a perfect world inspired by God. I would of thought tolerance and understanding were supposed to be part of that world.....I must of missed the message.

The amount of people that are misinformed about items that are considered "common knowledge" is staggering- and to base something like abortion and laws on a poll is horrifying. A lot a people think that the sun revolves around the earth (and I'm sure there are polls to show it), but it doesn't make that true. Ugh, I can only shake my head in horror, disgust and frustration.

There is no taking of a life when you simply prevent ovulation!

Go ahead, classify hormonal birth control as abortion. Take it away from the women who use it and watch how the society will be affected.

Why do they think they have the right to tell me what I can ingest into my own body? It is MY body, MY hormones, MY egg, MY period and MY birth control pill. No one should have the right to make my decisions for ME.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Birht control is not abortion. There is no baby to abort therefore it is not abortion. Birth Control just makes it so a woman doesnt have to have an abortion.
