According to the World Food Program, India is home to nearly half the world's hungry - a staggering 350 million malnourished people. Though various schemes such as food subsidies and restrictions to keep rice produced in India within the country are working, they are so far only just keeping tensions under control. Futher threats from bad weather are also adding to rice farmers' problems.

Our brothers and sisters are suffering in India...for now, the time has come to make a positive change...these people deserve better lives and a future with opportunities...at the very least, they deserve to eat...and not just bullshit, but good and healthy food, and not just handouts, they need to be put in a position to grow their own food, buy their own food, make their own food and eat their own food...
