Sewage Plant Named After Bush?

Some presidents get high schools named after them, others get highways and bridges. What does George W. Bush get? A sewage plant! Through a brilliant plan hatched in a bar, SF voters may be able to name the Oceanside Water Pollution Plant after our current president, George W., in November.

If the ballot initiative passes, the plant will be named "the George W. Bush Sewage Plant." Regardless of the outcome, however, "supporters plan to commemorate the inaugural with a synchronized flush of hundreds of thousands of San Francisco toilets, an action that would send a flood of water toward the plant."

  • That's the most hilarious thing I've heard all day. Really, though, it would be especially fitting if the sewage plant didn't work and everyone's toilets backed up and overflowed. After all, nothing Bush has ever done turned out to be right.

  • That is so disrespectful.........to sewege everywhere and all the hard working men and women who had to build that plant and have to operate up to standards.......Now whenever anyone asks them where they work they are going to get all embarrassed and say "Well.......I.....kinda........well I work at the George W OK!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I NEED TO PAY THE FUCKIN BILLS!!! I CAN'T HELP IT THAT THEY NAMED IT AFTER THAT ASSHOLE!!!" And we'll all cry for them........but laugh inside.
