Obama would move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan

As part of his plan to renew America's war on terrorism presidential nominee Barack Obama has repeated a call for more US troops and greater funding for Afghanistan.

"The situation is precarious and urgent here in Afghanistan, and I believe this has to be our central focus, the central front in our battle against terrorism," said Obama.

"That global network is centered in this area, and I think one of the biggest mistakes we [the United States] have made, strategically, after 9/11 was to fail to finish the job here," he said. "We got distracted by Iraq. And now we have a chance to correct some of those errors."

  • Listen Obama degenerates, just listen to what your guy really has to say once in awhile rather than praise his lofty delivery style rather over as substance is never there.

    Here again, Obama is obviously dangerous and has no real intention to change anything for the better. He is not for the preservation of this great country. His policies will destroy this country and we will end up with a war we cannot win and believe me, Obama will force us into such a weak position militarily that he will enact the draft again because he will leave us with no other option.

    Watch out as Obama is absolutely scary. Parent, watch out because your kids will be drafted under Obama.

    afghanistan was a war that was necessary, it was non-partisan, supported by the UN etc etc. Iraq was the illegal war and obama had the balls to say no whereas no one else did (except ron paul but he has no shot). Now obama is trying to bring the focus back where it belongs and settle it so he can get troops out. there are UN forces there as well and we are supporting and being supported by them, in essence, we are commited there. in iraq it's basically just us and the brits left, and they're leaving soon, and the iraqis want us out, so obama is pulling them out, this will leave us with plenty of troops to secure afghanistan. oh and in case you wondering, obama was warning us about trusting pakistan too much years ago, and now look, the taliban and whatever you want to call the sunni-extremists are lodged in the hills on the border launching cross border raids and pakistan isn't doing a damn thing.

    seriously, if you are going to rant at least provide some reason why we should believe you, you are really annoying. (faux news doesn't count) mccain and his never ending war is much more likely to need to implement the draft.
