A federal appeals court on Monday threw out a $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson's breast-baring ``wardrobe malfunction.''

On one hand it's great. I mean, it's just a boob. But on the other it's infuriating. Think of how much knee jerk censoring has happened because of this incident. And now they're getting off scot free?! Eff that noise!

I can't believe that this is still in the public mindset. A boobs a boob.
I do love the phrase "wardrobe malfunction" though, that's a good one, up there with "collateral damage".-

Not surprising that they were let off. CBS is owned by Viacom, which owns half of the TV you watch essentially. Im not surprised that a large conglomerate is once again allowed to waive a fee even though the fact that a boob on TV is even an issue is beyond me...

O no, a boob on tv!! I would like to meet the kid that says he was emotionally scarred by this incident.
-
I totaly forgot about this whole thing! So the people who didn't want us to see the boob in the first place keep reminding us about it, and bring the boob into the spotlight!
-
Anyone watching the ESPY's last night realized how much of a joke this has become. Thanks to a pretty good performance, I must admit, by Justin Timberlake.

Maybe the current staff's votes have the weight of super delegates?
-
Hooray for boobies! The article above tells us why the "wardrobe malfunction" is of relevance to public health.

I can’t believe this titillating story has resurrected itself. As a die-hard NE Patriot’s fan (I know-it’s still too painful to talk about) the most troubling aspect was Janet taking the opportunity to promote her new album during the half-time show & it became a bigger story than the Pat’s winning their 2d Super Bowl with Tom Brady’s 2d MVP in 3 years.

The most ridiculous part of that whole farce was in that same game some clown put on a fake ref's uniform and got down to the 50 yard line just before the third quarter kick off. The button down evangelical right wing-nuts went ape shit over some skin and no one batted an eye over the epic fail of security not even two years after the attacks on 9/11.

Current Iam losing respect for you fast! THIS IS BS NEWS WHO CARES!
-
It's a sad day when things like this make it to TV, and the capture of Karadzic doesn't.
It's the same things every time some article pops up that mentions either boobs, sex, porn or viagra.
This kind of garbage is not what people should be looking for on current.
