After losing just about every part of their bikes to thieves the Neisat brothers decided to see just how easy it is to steal a bike in broad daylight in NYC.

This video has just explained every cycle theft in my neighbourhood; it explains every turf lawn that has been lifted unseen and every parked car exhaust that has been boosted for scrap; but then again from personal experience, nothing tops the newly constructed brick garden wall that was "stolen" before the mortar had set.

well, i changed my mind about wanting to spend money on buying a new bike!

well how can you yell at someone trying to take the chain off a bike? there's no way to prove ownership, they can just claim that the lock is busted and they had to go get their bolt cutters.

Try owning a bike in Tucson, Arizona. After the third theft, public transportation starts looking really good.

I had a bike stolen once, and then mysteriously returned three days later. I felt quite insulted ;)
