I've been wondering for a while what the mainstream event would be that brings Twitter into the mainstream. What do you think, is this it? (Or are we still waiting for Paris Hilton to sign up...)

I signed up for Twitter but I haven't actually used it yet. I guess that makes me a prime candidate.

@damneargenius ~ Why in particular? I agree that Twitter's sign-up and "get new users going" workflow is pretty horrendous. I have to hold friends' hands to get them up and going, and sometimes even an in person tutorial is required. (Or I just set it up for them.)
@ron_paul_2008 ~ what are you bewildered about? -
sigh I hate all this web 2.0 crap. Do people think that anyone really cares what the hell they are doing all the time? If I want to know what my friends are up to I'll call them. Same deal w/ blogs. Well over half the blogs I've ever seen have some stupid person's stupid un informed opinions or details about their day to day boring lives. Sorry rant over.
