I know there are prison camps in every state. I have no idea if there are eight hundred? I think it might be interesting if some of us took the list for our area's and looked into this. Not close up, but just to confirm or refute this allegation.

Whoa.
I don't mean to be a doomsdayer, but I've had this nagging fear that Bush will (per Cheney's insistance) bomb Iran, declare martial law, and undermine the upcoming election so that he can remain in power.
I can guarantee I'd be thrown into one of these camps ... being the outspoken Bush hater that I am.
(on edit: Would I want to be on Mukasey's list? nope.)

I don't doubt this could be true, but I don't see a source. Other than the website I've never heard of.

I don't know if the number is accurate. I do know that we have concentration camps. I posted it because there has been several articles about them posted on Current and videos of some posted on You Tube. Google Fema Concentration camps.

This makes no sense to me simply because it's too obvious. If the US government tried to inter it's citizen's DC would be on fire in 2 days and the government would fall in four. I SERIOUSLY doubt the military would go along with any of this even if it were true. Even Hitler was careful about throwing German citizens into prisons (other than Jews of course). However, I can think of a useful purpose for at least one prison i.e. to inter Bush and his merry band of traitors.

History repeats in the most horrible ways sometimes.
Let's not forget the Japanese American Internment Camps of WWII.
They were an alleged threat, as well.
Tule Lake, California... -
Mark701, Hitler had a private military, we have Blackwater. Our Military is in the Middle East. The people that would set those fires are the ones that would go first into those camps. FEMA has a huge data base full of our information from phone calls, E-mails, blogging.

Huntre, They also kept our Japanese citizens at the Tanforan Horse Racing Track in San Bruno, CA. In horse stalls. Imagine the indignity of that?
-
They kept Native Americans in a camp in North Dakota too before they allowed them to be "citizens".

It would seem that, when need be, humanity becomes disposable.
