NBC has finally announced when Jay Leno will leave "The Tonight Show” and Conan O’Brien will take over. Leno's final tonight show will be May 29, 2009.

  • May 29th can't come soon enough. Good riddance. Go back on the road and poison middle America with your hack brand of "comedy." And stay away from ABC.

  • i really wish Connan was'nt moving to California to take over the Tonight Show. His show just fits New York and i will he would stay.
    I also HATE the fact that Jimmy "CAN'T BE IN A SKIT WITHOUT LAUGHING" Fallon is taking over the Tonight Show! Not only is he not funny, but i cannot picture his being able to conduct a halfway decent interview when he can even do a half decent job when BEING interviewed!
    but at least this way i'll be able to watch Connan and Ferguson, no conflict!

  • yeah!! i can't wait. i like leno but conan is just more fun. you don't know what to expectwith him. and besides i don't have to wait late in order to watch him, if he takes over. so YEa!!!!

  • The late night slot is the only reason Conan is so funny. Wait until he moves to the Tonight Show, he'll tone it down a lot, especially with jests about homosexuality. Just because Leno is gone, doesn't mean all the dreadful writers will be fired. Conan, we'll miss the slightly less censored version of you.

  • Conan has more comedic talent and creativity in his hair than Leno has in his whole body, including his ginormous chin. And Conan should bring back Andy for a few episodes.

  • It's funny how Leno destroys Letterman in ratings. The reason why I hate Letterman so much is his constant digs at him because he's so jealous. Honestly, I prefer to watch Stewart/Colbert, but Leno's monologues and headlines (on Monday's) are really a delight.
