Barrack Obama is having an identity crisis with the middle-class voters of America. It is this disconnection with middle-class voters that casts a grand illusion on Obama's campaign.

That is a pretty stupid essay and idiotic analysis. Obama is more middle class than either McCain or Clinton and only left the middle class when he became a US Senate candidate and his book sales made him wealthy, although not nearly as wealthy as McCain or Clinton. And refuting arguments that you think others "seem to say" is a pathetic and bizzare rhetorical device. The faux-populism of this nonsensical rant lacks any substance and doesn't address one issue.
Total crap. -
This is an interesting opinion and while I may not agree with all of it, I see your point. Obama has always had a disconnection with the middle-class and this has been a well-known problem for a long time.
In reference to the first comment here, this piece is not "nonsense."
If you bother to open the newspaper once in a while and read the small words, you will know the problems that Obama faces with this group of voters. The middle-class does not identify with Obama and that is the gap that he is trying to close. That is not a "stupid" essay either.
We all have views that should be respected in this forum. You don't have to agree with a particular essay, but you really make yourself appear moronic with such a crass comment.-

This is a fair article. The news reports have been talking about this issue for a long time.
As an African-American, I too have struggled with Obama and at this writing I still am uncertain and unclear about how many of his "change" issues will be implemented. You addressed the issue of the great divide between Obama and the middle-class and I appreciate your honesty.
Thank you. -
Hey Brandon M-
Quit harassing me with your disrespectful email! Your private emails are responses that you are afraid to post here for fear of alienating yourself even further.
It is not a race issue and I am an African-American! Quit pulling out the race card-it makes people of color only weaker and pathetic.
We all have an opinion and you seem unable to control your anger when others disagree with you.
Oh yeah, put your energy in buying a dictionary and learn to spell. -
What private emails? If someone is sending you harassing emails, I'm sorry, but my communications are made in the open unless someone sends a private message to me and indicates their preference for it. Also, I am a spelling bee champ, so it is obviously not me. I don't think you're just making this up to malign me, so I'm assuming there is a right-wing troll using a phony account to make me look bad. That is sad and I regret that you are being subjected to this crap.
