Are you f@#$%^! kidding me!!?
NEW YORK - Television news' royalty will fly in to meet Barack Obama during this week's overseas trip: CBS chief anchor Katie Couric in Jordan on Tuesday, ABC's Charles Gibson in Israel on Wednesday and NBC's Brian Williams in Germany on Thursday.
The anchor blessing defines the trip as a Major Event and — much like a "Saturday Night Live" skit in February that depicted a press corps fawning over Obama — raises anew the issue of fairness in campaign coverage.

Heh. Your response made me giggle.
And I concur. The media is exhibiting, unabashedly, their love affair with McSame ... who couldn't put together an intelligent sentence to save his life.
For instance: In a recent interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, McSame referred to the "border of Iraq and Pakistan." Did we see that blaring in the headlines? Nope. But if Obama had made such an idiotic statement (which he wouldn't by the by) he'd have been skewered. -
Yeah, that poor piggy...
-
It was all good when he was the media darling so now when he's on a level playing field it seems like he's getting picked on. For a politician that doesn't know the difference between Shiite and Sunni, thinks Czechoslovakia still exists, conveniently can't remember his voting record and has decided Iraq and Pakistan share a border he has some nerve saying the media is picking on him.
-
Nerve is all he has, certainly not even common sense. I wonder how McCain would do if he just ran around smiling and waving without any comments?

Marilynn ~ he may even do better keeping his puss shut. He's got *such* a winning smile. (/sarcasm)
I personally *heart* the video of him squirming whilst trying to respond to the question concerning Viagra being covered by health insurance, but birth control not being covered.
The guy's a total tool.
Off topic: I personally can't wait for Friday, to see how the impeachment hearings go. I'm so very glad they're going to be televised. But the MSM will ignore it, hence I have little confidence ... :( -
Total tool is right! :)

lets be real the topics that the media has chosen to touch upon with regard to McCain have been caused by his own comments and "senior moments", there has been a gross neglect of essentially important and controversial talking points that McCain has constantly tried to convey...even more important McCain has about several issues in which he stats are fact like he repeated proclamation that he is highly rated by veteran groups which ISN'T TRUE....
Obama has been labeled as the "flip flopper" and had his words twisted time and again, had has his associations questioned,
while McCain has "flip flopped" like a damn fish and never been called to question about his relations with people like pastor John hagee...
the media likes to focus on one or two talking points and make them into stories but Obama has by far dealt with more negative coverage then either hillary or McCain and is still in the race..... -
Look, noone , not even MSM can deny Obama will be our next president. Every day they come out with another poll showing McLame as anywhere from 2 to 5 points down. Who the hell believes these polls? Dems came out in record numbers in the primaries outvoteing Repugs 2 to 1 and even 3 to 1. Even the simplest of minds can do the math on this one. (MSM excluded of course) Even if you take out the illiterate hillbilly " I ain't votin fer no N#$@%r " dem votes , that still only takes away around 3%. If you want an analysts prediction , how about this one, Obama wins by largest margin in US history. I personally don't trust Obama however there is no way in hell I would cast my vote for a fascist repugnican. And until we overhaul the entire political system and allow at least 4 diff. candidates to recieve equal debate time and public financed campaigns, the unseen puppeteers will continue to tell you who you are permitted to elect.

The media is unfair to ALL nominees. Maybe it's a test - to see if they'll crack. I feel bad for them,... kinda. They have to pay lip service to the masses, and yet, the media still attacks them for the purpose of 'ruining a name'. They're labeled as flip-floppers, which is just changing your mind - something EVERY politician should do. I don't really blame the media,... it's just preparation for the toughest job in the U.S.A.

Ya but so what? This race was over before it began.

Media bias? How about them exluding Kucinich and Paul from debates despite public interest in those candidates?
