Walter Hopps and Irving Blum's Ferus Gallery was at the center of the art movement in Los Angeles that put the city on the map. With the likes of Andy Warhol and Marcel Duchamp, LA became a refuge for artists that were considered too unconventional for New York's traditional style. This cut down narrated by Jeff Bridges comes from the full length documentary "The Cool School" directed by Morgan Neville.
