    This is tragic. I heard from Officer McLamb (the most promoted and fired officer in Pheonix) that most states are hiring the most immoral officers into the highest ranks in order to have the most ruthless police force in this country.

    It took a few moments for me to remember where I had heard of the Rainbow Family, and its unfortunate they were treated this way. Since they are about world peace, maybe this was a cosmic balancing act for too many good people in one place?

    I would suggest pointing to the real source mentioned in the blog, instead of a blog page quoting it.

  • well, if this is an accurate account it's pretty horrible. I mean regardless of if the guy was running, these officers are at a large gathering of people who are all there to talk about how violence is bad. The idea that they couldn't resolve the situation without weapons, you know by maybe talking to the people and explaining why they are arresting a guy who ran from them. And initially, who cares if a guy is "sharing marijuana" I would call him generous. America's morals are real wierd.

  • well, number one the officers have no right to enter the grounds of a private organizations event without first being invited to perform security duties.....number two, if chased by the cops dont run into a place designated for quiet family time.........Overzealous cops that cause problems like this should be fired and restricted from any public service position
