Wes and Joan have told me that MoveOn members are really jumping on board with our new national challenge—getting 100% of our nation's electricity from renewable and truly clean energy sources within 10 years. Apparently, more than 150,000 have already signed this MoveOn petition in the last 24 hours.
Thank you! I knew when I issued this challenge that it would take millions of us working together, a whole new movement of citizens, to make it happen. And, once again, MoveOn members are rising to the challenge. It's very heartening.
I'd like to ask you to join me by adding your name, too. Just click here:

As I said on Thursday, this is a generational moment. A moment when we decide our own path and our collective fate. I'm asking you—each of you—to join me and build this future.
Thanks for all you do,
Al Gore

ain't inflicting pain on me AA so count me out of the "All consumers" This Unitary President has stolen all our money for his fake war for oil so the only way left is up.
Our next President Obama at very least will open his arms to renewable resources like solar and wind at sea. Why would we possibly want to continue to legislate for more oil production if we are smart enough as a nation to use these natural resources. The only reason i can see is that you are part of the oil industry or brainwashed by those who profit from it.-

this is a definite collective step in the right direction; however, i can't help but wonder what could have been were it not for america's refusal to take part in the kyoto agreement seven years ago.

I agree.
We would have been in good shape..we have brilliant scientists who would have already implemented strong green energy programs instead of flushing our money down the toilet with this joke of a war that is making us less safe instead of more safe. Did you see "who killed the electric car?" That was an interesting mystery.-

Untill al gore turns off his lights and sells his private jet than he can sit on it.
-
Since al gore doesn't awnser any questions maybe one of you algore followers can help me with one little small problem im having with his "Theory" of global warming and Carbon...The temprature on Mars, Pluto, and Saturn, have all had the same temperature rise as Earth!
Did we cause that too?
How naive can "global warmers" get?

Not to feed the troll ... but are you saying our dependence on foreign oil is a *good* thing? How pathetically ignorant.
Clean, green energy ... wind solar water ... would only benefit us. Create jobs (installation) and reduce our dependence on oil.
And don't give me that shit about offshore drilling. Not gonna make any significant difference. *If* the price of oil went down (why should it? the fat-cats like their money waaaay too much) usage would only go up.
The only answer is renewable energy, created right here in the good ol' U.S.of.A.-

Hey amber lastrange,
I see you got your liberal talking points memo...to bad your whole tyraid is based on theory...not gonna make any difference my ass!
President Bush lifted the ban on drilling and the price per barrel went down $12 ...so far...and if nazi pelosi would let it come to a vote on the floor half of the dummycrats would vote for it too, and the price would drop sharply.
85% of Americans support drilling domestically! And economist agree that its the right thing too for the short term...even T. Boone Pickens, supports domestic drilling to get off foreign oil.
wind, solar, bio, and nuclear energy's are 20 years away.
Quit drinking the liberal kool-aid!

I'll embed my responses. Just the opposite of how the MSM (for you short yellow bussers, that stands for Main Stream Media ... (CURRENT I take that back ... I wasn't trying to be mean honest!) has DEMANDED the Bush regime to allow coverage of this illegal occupation.
I'm not clear on how old you are ... I'm guessing 12. But let me finish my argument: See, that's what happened during the Vietnam war. The press was allowed to HAVE AT IT. And as it turned out, America didn't think the number of caskets they saw coming back warranted doing a thing to peoples who posed us no harm as a *worthy* thing, and especially to the cost of American lives, let alone others.
"Hey amber lastrange, "
I'll tackle that part next. Do you presume labeling me as "lastrange" bothers me?
I'm here to inform you (and much as I hate to feed a troll ... I'm guessing you're hungry, so I'll oblige, you're welcome) yeah. I've been labeled Strange in the past. In fact, I've been called worse. Are you courting me? Gosh. Thank you. *blushing*
No offence, booboo (apt moniker by the by) I see you got your liberal talking points memo..."to (you meant "too" but what's correct spelling got to do with a wingnut?) bad your whole tyraid *?(*Http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tyriad) is based on theory...not gonna make any difference my ass!"
For the record, I'm okay with that. I want not to make a difference in your ass. And you not in
mine. M'kay? But (no pun) that said, you not in mne, me not in yours ... what's it matter? Who or where you're fucking them?

You make my point all you dummycrats do is attack with rhetoric and lies.
You have no solutions...only one awnser to every problem...Raise Taxes!
Maybe you can get nobama to give a breathalyzer treatment for your asthma...hahaha
And wait 20 years to drive your wind/solar powered vehicle around...hahaha
And all dummycrats need to get over President Bush...we are there in Iraq and afganistan right now!
You cant turn back the clock dummycrats!
Lets win the war or we will just have to go back!
And you can put al gore and his theory where the sun dont shine! M'kay!
