CNN reports that Hurricane Dolly became a category 1 hurricane on Tuesday afternoon. The storm is heading towards Southern Texas and Northern parts of Mexico according to the National Hurricane Center. Winds were up to 75mph around 5pm when it was centered in the Gulf of Mexico and 165 miles 'east-southeast of Brownsville, Texas'. By Wedesday, the storm should be closer to Brownsville and the west coastal cities of the Gulf.
