This is not for TV evidently. Just a little Math curiosity between you and me.

  • But what about the people who viewed but didn't vote?

And, what about the people who voted, but didn't view.

    voting != viewing.

    Yes? No?

  • @stopnoise --

Just to clear this up: the number of views on an item does not represent the number of people who voted on the item.

So, in the case of Jubal's post, the 226 views means that 226 people took a look at the post, but we do not display the total number of votes on the post -- only percentages of votes up/votes down.

    Hope this helps,

  • All the numbers add up. That's always fun.

  • Oh yeah, Give me that crazy boom on 4th. Your accent seems to not get that. Go away and quit sending Shit to me.
  • It would be interesting to see how many people voted on a story. This would be very informative.

  • Good point.
Yes that confused me also, sn
I finally understand now that if there are 100 views and it is 50/50 there might only be 2 votes...
That's why I thought incorrectly that it might be trolls..mario explained it me also....now it makes sense to me.
May help if they can work that info into their software.
Then we can also see how many people voted.
There might still be trolls there but it is not as bad as I was thinking.

  • We should try to make the voting system a better responsible and transparent system. I still feel that people voting negative could stop being in the lurking and express why they are voting negative. What are the motives of you pushing down.

    1. Movie quality
    2. Theme Story or History
    3. Title, etc.
    4. Evolution
    5. Background Sound
    6. Background Graphics
    7. Narration

    What is your beef?

Constructive critique sure would help us to improve our works.

  • Even though I go all doe-in-the-headlights when it comes to math (my eyes are still glazed over, good thing I touch-type) ... I voted this UP. I think. The button looked green. But in my current state (no pun) I cannot be sure.

    :D
