Why I liked Current Tv in first place?

When I first discovered Current TV if my memory does not betrayme was back in 2001 or so. I was confined to stay at home for the whole day due to the fact that I had been recently been Bone Marrow Transplanted because of leukemia I had.
From 1995 yo 1999 I went to college in Mexico city where I studied what we call here in the country Social Communications, which is about learning about tv, radio, printed press, film, de3sign, photograph etc, so when we finish school we can work in media.
What was interesting in that time was that I remember that you had an open casting call for all those who wanted to be presenters, or had a video production that wanted to be exhibited in Current TV, but at that time I could not even go out to the street due to my recent transplant so I only browsed around wishing I could do things. But after a while I started to feel annoyed by the fact that I could not even go out my room and stopped visiting Current TV.
Years later, when I was much better, and I could do a normal life like anyone else, I visited Current TV and I saw that you were no longer that website I once knew. Now you had a fee for those who wanted to upload a video, so this discouraged me and eventually I forgot about the website.
Now I am much better than I was in those days ans I even worked in a local radio and tv broadcast station until 3 years ago when I returned to the university to study theater.
In my blog you will be able to read (in spanish) what I've been doing since then and watch some pics and even some times videos.
I thank you because when I recieved your mail asking me to answer your survey I remembered a little of what I wanted those days and I recovered a little of that wish, that might have been lost.

I remember tuning in to current tv in late 2005 too, Would have been nice to have current tv back in '01. There would have probably been way too many pods on 9/11 if it were around back then.

eyy i remember not understanding random videos on the station, and the one producer kept saying "we're doing something new here on current. keep coming back and catch on" or something. how could i not listen?!
