The rapidly increasing cost of food does not just mean higher grocery bills; it means more hungry people. This month, the Alliance to End Hunger released a startling new poll revealing that one in four American voters (28 percent) fear that they or someone they know will go hungry.

There is no appropriate reason for ANY one to go hungry within our USA Borders. Maybe we should be growing food instead of ornamental grass in our yards.

Sadly, I don't think "hunger" has the same definition in the US as the rest of the world. Hunger here can mean "smaller meal sizes."

That may be true in some sense handshake' but I believe you are also very sadly mistaken. Denial doesn't help the fact there is indeed GROWING economic disparity between the privileged and those less and less fortunate. It's a corrupt vile system perpetuated intelligently by those ingrates surreptitiously more selfish than the rest of us.
