Even though the guest judge was Natalie Portman on last night's Project Runway, the judge we looked forward to hearing from was Nina Garcia, the calm, cool, and composed one. This woman doesn't mince words nor does she use more words than what's necessary. Her comments are poetic and the rhythm of the delivery, priceless. On last night's episode she delivers a heart stopping line that sent Wesley home packing:
"Shiny, tight, and short is the quickest way to look cheap"
I think if there was such thing as a verbal bitch slap, that would have been it. You can't argue with Nina Garcia. Not when she's that impeccably put together: the hair, the makeup, the styling....distracting us from the obvious flaws. We have to give it to her though, she proves once and for all..... You don't have to be A-list to bring your A Game.
