Microsoft has just spent $300 million in a new ad strategy to remind people that Vista isn't as rubbish as everyone thinks.

  • Oh dear. Kind of reminds me of the warning posters at my local (very poorly operated, constantly running late service) train station reminding people please not to assault the staff.
  • Changing an ad campaign does not make the software more functional. They are just trying to cool down the bad rep, the bad rep that is there for a reason.
