A Massachusetts woman kills herself in her own home before the bank could foreclose. She actually faxed them to tell of her intention and ironically leaves a note to her family telling them to use any insurance money to pay off the house.

Didn't Phil Gram say we're a bunch whiners and these financial issues were all in our heads?

  • In the process now myself. Single mom who has raised 2 daughters (one in college, one senior HS). I will have to work two full time jobs to just try and save my mortgage. Can't enjoy life myself let alone be there as a mom for them. This sucks! US companies have become so used to paying illegals bottom wages and no benefits that now that's what they are offering us. After making more than $70 in 2007, I now make $12.00 with no benefits.

  • What a sad tale and I agree with 1percent...but that said sometimes the "corporates" despite saying *contact us, talk to us, we'll help you* in reality do anything but...and the little person feels screwed.
    Let's not forget it was the banks who caused this problem in the first place with their greed, greed, greed! They should hang their heads in shame if a fax was sent to them and they still did Jack.
