82 year old Betty Robinson, a widow from Southhampton, was told she could not take snaps of an empty paddling pool because she "might be a paedophile". She was ordered to put away her camera when a council worker caught her taking shots of the local common and empty open air pool.
Dear me, the dangers of old ladies eh? Bureaucracy gone mad...?

How does taking a picture of an empty pool imply she is a paedophile? What is wrong with people?

A satirical news show made in the UK in 2001 that said all there was to say about the scare mentality that seems to exist around paedophilia then, and apparently now.
Couldn't help but think of it reading this article. -
So what if I wanted to take a picture of the scenery? Is that not allowed anymore? Even an empty pool area?? this sounds a little ridiculous to me...
