This is a story about a general store in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky. This general store has been in operation since the 1830's. In a world of large consumer demand we explore how this store has survived and continues to thrive in a Wal Mart dominated industry.

Thanks for taking a look at my short. I enjoyed making this film. It meant a lot to me to capture a moment in time. I think of this short as photograph of what life was like today at the General Store in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.

Just another thought. If you had made yourself a subject in this video it could have given it a different color and appeal, too!

Its a very cool video about values, about the important things in life like tratidions, friendship, time, experiences, etc.
The author sends a clear message that simple things are essential and that simple things trascend in time and space.
    Great edition. Great photo.

With all the "reality" programming out there that seems plucked straight from Jerry Springer, it's refreshing to see a truly "real" view of middle america, and to be reminded that "community" is still a legitimate concept in a world where human connections have largely been replaced by texts and emails.
Beautiful cinematography and colorful characters. I liked it.

This visit to the general store made me think of my childhood and how wonderful it is to be a child. Wanted to go to Rabbit Hash now! Thank you for weaving a good short story.

Rabbit Hash is my home. Since moving there 5 years ago, I have gained the best group of friends I have had in my life. There is something quite magical about this little river hamlet. It is an old timey version of "Cheers"...."where everybody knows your name...."
