This is a good idea, but will be misused, some dumb girl out there is going to stick it in then go out for a night of drinking and dancing, bring a guy home and be so drunk she’ll forget she has it up there and will then wonder why the guy is bleeding and crying. It is just sad and insane that something like this was invented and produced in the first place. It is absolutely crazy and will do nothing whatsoever to protect women from emotional AND physical harm, so it is a waste of money and time.

Wow, this product is really old. I mean REALLY old. This article, I believe, is one I posted when I first came to Current, last year or so? It originally came out to help African women who are experiencing attacks so frequently that they are sometimes afraid to even leave their homes to go work or get food. Its sad that as a race some of us are so calloused that we prey on each other with no regard to how the other person feels. Its a sad state of affairs, but serious empowerment for women who face rape on a daily basis. I say we ship these by the truckload to Darfur and see who comes away scarred then.
