Quite the philanthropist these days, entrepreneur and former rapper Master P was recently awarded the key to the city of Memphis, Tennessee as a result of his recent work in the community.
Master P was honored by the Mayor of Memphis, Willie Herenton as a result of an event that Master P and his son held in Memphis on August 1.
The event entitled "Let The Kid's Grow Day" was a positive mix of music and fun as well as important messages about education and staying away from drugs and crime. The elementary and middle-school aged crowd were also treated to bags full of school supplies.
