Today MTV announced another set of nominees for their 25th Annual MTV Awards which will air on September 7 at 9 p.m. EST.
The nominee's for both Best Hip Hop video and Pop video were revealed earlier today and the Hip Hop nominee's include Lil' Wayne ("Lollipop"), Lupe Fiasco ("Superstar"), Flo Rida ("Low"), Kanye West ("Homecoming") and Mary J. Blige ("Just Fine").
Along with his nomination for Best Hip Hop video, Lil' Wayne is also confirmed to perform at the awards show.
The MTV Awards will be hosted by British comedian/actor Russell Brand who recently appeared in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
