Last week, the house voted on H. Con. Res. 362, which would allow a naval blockade of Iran, which is a declaration of war. President Bush would have been able to allow one more war before he left office. According to this article, the house has stalled the bill!!! This is amazing because this bill had, at one time, over 160 co-sponsers. This bill seemed like it would be passed in a matter of seconds! This article does imply that anti-war and bill protestors may have actually caused this change of heart! It is now more important than ever to contact your representative and let them know that you do not want war with Iran! All you need is your address and internet access. You can go to www.house.gov (you need to enter www) and you can search for your representative by your address. This site provides phone numbers and addresses to their DC office and local office along with an email address. This is a major turning point for those who oppose bush's agenda!!!!!!
