Rumors are swirling that Obama is going to announce Evan Bayh as his VP on Wednesday, based on his two day trip to Indiana.

He should pick a black woman.

I heard that Evan Bayh was a sharp character. If his does pick Sista Gurhl, it should be Condi Rice. I think Michelle would get oh-so jealouso.

Generally speaking, Intelligent people make intelligent choices. So far this has held true with Sen. Obama. If there is a reason for choosing Sen. Bayh, it's probably been well thought out.

Whoever he does pick, one thing is for sure....the VP candidates won't run away from the position like McCain's VP picks have.

This behavior is frequently seen in the animal kingdom when animals avoid sick, contagious animals who would bring about the downfall of the pack.

So I went to this guys website to check out his stances on the issues... hilarity ensued. No, it's not that I disagree with his positions, it is that he continually refers to the people of Indiana as 'hoosiers'. I don't know about you guys but in St. Louis (and not really anywhere else) the term 'hoosier' is associated with 'white trash'.

So read the following and replace 'hoosier' with 'white trash', hopefully you'll find it as funny as I did.

    Some excerpts:

"In addition to easing the pocketbook crunch at the pump for Hoosier families, increased ethanol use will create thousands of new Hoosier jobs."

"Senator Bayh has consistently fought to secure federal funding for Hoosiers..."

"Senator Bayh supports the development of renewable and alternative domestic energy supplies as a way to ensure clean, abundant and affordable fuel for Hoosier families."

    Obama/Hoosier 08! (Not really)
